Plastik

Image

How to Avoid Conflict?

Image
If you don't want conflict go to the mountains and become an hermit. I know some hermitage have headaches too, nevertheless. The title is really "How to Handle Conflict." After finishing a short free nonverified or audit online course about family business , I would like to share with you this 5 Conflict Management Strategy , and just discuss one of it though. It's accomodating, avoiding, collaborating, compromising, competing. I never knew accommodating wins your customers. If it's just about petty details, small amounts short of full payment, etc. always give them the lighter side of it and never argue. That's it. Even your just chitchatting with your customers and they have a different political opinion than yours, for the sake of art, don't give a damn. If you want them fast in deciding what to buy, for God's sake be patient, and give them all the time they want to decide. Small inconsequencial things like a customer haven't yet paid the 5 ...

Being Friendly To My Customers

You can't blame me. Sometimes customers just need a listening heart. But does it go against our suggestion to warn oneself against confusion from receiving payment and giving changes? Yes it does! Previously we did say that there's nothing wrong chitchatting with your customers as long as there is no transactions left. But what if I tell you another line of story? A regular peddler shouted at me inside my store if I'm going to buy my favorite snack. I hesitated since I just ate my breakfast, but would love to really see the effect of my favorite snack to my health if taken regularly. I said yes, then suddenly my customer ordered his regular products, one of which I lack and have to weigh another to give to him. Then I calculated his order, his hand clipping the peso bill though he still needs to get additional money to pay the total. While getting the additional money from his pouch, my favorite snack was served, I paid for it, then all of a sudden a woman was telling m...

Bakit Tinaasan ng Tax ang Sugary Products

Image

Storytelling Or Selling

Either or, you can't multitask, you have to choose one. There's nothing wrong chitchatting with your customers (finished with their transaction) or a friend or an acquaintance as long as there is no one buying in your store, listing, computing, and packaging their goods. Yes, this is my standard operating procedure while selling. But hey I was taken aback when I found myself listening to an acquaintance's story and questions to my mother, and then the horrifying situation happened again. I was asking for the payment from my customer again who quickly reminded me she already gave me three 20 peso bill and I already changed her with a one peso. If not for that detailed reminder I would have found myself again arguing with my customer. Be reminded then not to also listen to other's story while your still finishing your transaction. Focus and don't be led astray. Or you'll regret your lapses again.

Give The Change Slowly

Due to my insistence on technique to speed up serving customers at a Sari-sari Store, I realized there is one thing among others that need to slow down. When giving the change to customers, one should slow down irrespective of whether other customers in line are insisting to speed up your service so that they can be served next already. Slow it down like a slow motion movie as if. Even you sped up the getting of their goods, packing it, etc. when giving the change comes, slow down. Reason: customers are given the chance to second look at their money, and so are you. Give yourself all the time to count carefully the change before giving it, slow it down even the world is in third war already. This saves everyone from confusions, and like we've discussed before saves the good relationship you have with your customers, reminding me of lost customers that never came back anymore just because of arguing with her about her incomplete payments.
